Baggy Jeans Are Outlawed in Atlanta

Some of the states have already passed the laws, which say that persons that are showing their underwear in public places can be fined up to $500.
The councilman of Atlanta City Martin was declared that he doesn’t support it, when kids strip some parts of their body by wearing baggy jeans or sports bras. He has offered to fine people who demonstrate their underwear in a public places.
Local espapers called this act as “Banning stupidity”. In this way local authorities are trying to apply ethic restriction on fashion.
Many people think that it’s ridiculous, that guys reveal boxer shorts and girls show the strap of their thong. But another part of community is thinking in different ways. Sombody likes my clothes but sombody other no. So, we can’t just ban baggy jeans. It’s a fashion created by hip-hop culture.
As you know fashion is inconstant. You should remember the Beatles time, the situation was similar. A lot of parents didn’t like their long hair, while their kids were made sure that it was realy cool. Our teenagers just follow for examples of their music or TV heroes. If these stars change clothes, you’ll see, children will try to copy their style.
I’ll give you few more examples.
Before 1960s majority of men from whole USA wore hats, but after Jhon Kennedy’s inauguration everything has changed, they stopped to wear their hats. It was happen because Kennedy didn’t do this in that historical day. This story put some thought that our new president Mr. Obama could have an influence on youth, he can make example that others will follow.
Other haracteristic example concerned with famous basketball star Michael Jordan. When he started to wear long shorts plenty of his worshippers and other basketball players became do the same.
I completely agree that educational institutions like schools, universities, libraries must have rules that forbid to put underwear in the window. Probably guys can’t work well in learning of something when close by them will be pretty girl with ugly as. It’s also concern of restaurant where business men are meeting for carrying out of negotiations.
But I think that interdiction of baggy jeans at all is not right way. There are plenty of people that dress other unusual garments but police doesn’t arrest them.
For adults, who doesn’t like that their kids put baggy jeans on, I can just recommendate to wear this stuff too. In that moment when children see this clothes on parents, they refuse it.
Hey, people, there are much more important things in our life, so don’t worry about baggy pants.
